How can you give to Northside Baptist Church without it costing you anything? Participate in one of our fundraisers - many of which do not require you to spend any more money than you have already spent or were already going to spend.
Online Shopping (Church)
Do you shop at places like Amazon.com, Apple iTunes, eBay, Netflix, Orbitz, Staples or Travelocity? Well, you can continue shopping at the online retailers - and many more - and NBC can get a percentage of every sale at no additional cost to you.All you need to do is go to the iGive Shopping Mall, register yourself as a shopper (free), select Northside Baptist Church as your charity, and then go the available online retailers through the iGive Mall website. Each time you want to go shopping, go to iGive first to login and they will keep track of your purchases and automatically send a percentage of your sales to NBC.
Internet Searching (Church)
You can make a contribution to Northside Baptist Church every time you search the Internet. Simply use iSearchiGive (based on the Yahoo search engine) and they will send NBC a $.02 contribution for every valid search you make. You must be registered with iGive and use their search engine, but that's it.
HoneyBaked Ham Gift Certificates (Global Ministries)
We can order your HoneyBaked Ham gift certificates where a percentage of the value of every gift certificate is given by the company to Northside Baptist Church. They make wonderful gifts and help support our church! Contact the church office or sign-up at the Global Ministries table in the main foyer.
Recycling (Global Ministries)
We believe that God has called us to be good stewards of all that He has given us, including the created world around us (Genesis 1:28-31). We are excited to be involved in several fundraisers that not only help our Global Missions Short-term Trips, but that also help our environment.
Newspapers
We have a large, green container from SP Recycling Corp. located to the west of West Hall in the front of the church. We want to get your old newspapers, junk mail, telephone books, magazines and office papers for recycling. We currently raise between $200-400 each year, but could raise much more if you started recycling and donating your newspapers to us!
Aluminum Cans
We have a large, grey container from Best Metal Recycling located to the west of West Hall in the front of the church. We want to get your aluminum cans for recycling. This is a new addition ot our recycling fundraisers, but we'll let you know in the future how much it has been helping us!
Printer Cartridges and Cell Phones
We have collection boxes from ThinkRecycle located in our main foyer and in the church office. We want to get your used inkjet printer cartridges, used laser printer cartridges and old cell phones for recycling.
Collecting
There are several ways you can collect and donate used items from your home to benefit the various ministries of Northside.
Clothes and Housewares (Benevolence)
Donate your used but still good "stuff" to our Benevolence ministry to sell at our Thrift store. You can either take the donations right up to the Thrift store or drop them off in one of the Benevolence barrels in the main foyer or office foyer!
Cancelled Stamps (Global Ministries)
We have a small basket located on the Global Ministries table in the main foyer for collecting used or cancelled postage stamps. We are able to send them in and generate funds to support special missions projects. In 2007, these stamps generated $36,000 for the Latin American Sunday School Curriculum Project. Just clip the stamps off your mail, remembering to leave plenty of space around the stamp, and drop them off in the basket, we'll take care of the rest!
Boxtops for Education (Northside Christian School)
There is a box in the main foyer (at the NCS display) to receive boxtops from thousands of products. Each year we could raise over $20,000 for our school by clipping and turning in those boxtops. Check out www.boxtops4education.com for more information.

Tampa Bay Rays Concession (Global Ministries)
When it's baseball season and you're at the Trop for a Rays game, stop by the 3rd base concourse to visit the Nacho, Popcorn, Pretzel, Peanut stand. Our teams taking short-term trips around the world help staff the stand at many home games. You not only get to meet someone from church and get your snacks for the game, but you also support the short-term trips. For the 2010 season, our stand generated over $11,000 for short-term trips to the India, Ft. Hood-Texas, and Spain!
