Our Mission:

Enhance our means of getting information to and from parents, especially using electronic means such as e-mail and the web. Help everyone communicate more easily and more effectively!

Our mission is primarily one of service to the other committees, parents, teachers, and students. It is not defined by one event and it may be difficult to measure our success. Our mantra is "let us help".

Our work requires some vision of the future, and some cultivation and continuity between years to be successful. Most of what we do will be small baby steps that when added up over time will make significant accomplishments.

Our Focus:

• Maintain and improve user utilization of our email groups.
• Maintain and improve our HSA web pages.
• Work closely with other committees to improve their event coordination and enhance their communications.

The Communications Committee fosters new web ideas and new practices at STM. It is up to us to define how we can help, figure out what will work, and then help and encourage others to utilize it. All of this must be accomplished with limited resources and a lot of creativity. If it were easy, it wouldn't be much fun! :)
