Easter Season Services

Ash Wednesday, 7:30 pm
On Ash Wednesday we hold a service of scripture, song and prayer in the sanctuary led by our pastoral staff; the imposition of ashes is available.

Holy Week

Palm Sunday, 10:00 am
Our Palm Sunday worship begins with a procession. It is led by a church member representing Jesus during his triumphal entry into Jerusalem (our sanctuary), followed by our children waving palm fronds. The service then proceeds in word and music to mark Jesus’ journey into Jerusalem and through the Holy Week leading to Easter. Following our service of worship, the children may visit a petting zoo in the Cloister Garden.

Maundy Thursday, 7:30 pm
Maundy Thursday is observed with a service of Tenebrae and Communion.

Good Friday, 12:00 noon
On Good Friday we hold a joint service with our sister church, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, here at Plymouth Church.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday begins with a 6:30 am Sunrise Service with Communion in Edson Chapel.  Our celebration of worship continues at 9 am and again at 11 am as we enjoy festival services of word and music. There is an Easter egg hunt for the little ones held after the 9 am service.
