Greetings and Salutations!
I am the Parish Associate and also Providence's 'eldest pastor.' I have been in the ministry for sixty (60) years, which is an anniversary celebrated recently by the entire Providence Presbyterian Church family!
I graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. After spending World War II in Europe, my service as a Tank Company Commander ended; then, in 1948, I enrolled in and graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
I haved served in various ministerial positions ranging from pastor to Church Extension Secretary of the Lexington Presbytery. I have four granddaughters, a daughter who serves her church as an Elder and a son who is a pastor.
