KNOW GOD

We embrace God’s will for His Church to go into all the world with the gospel as stated in Acts 1:8.  That means impacting our Jerusalem (our neighborhood), our Judea (our city), our Samaria (our nation) and to the ends of the earth (our world).

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD:

Before we can impact the world, we need to minister to those who live within the shadow of our steeple.  There are a number of ways that we seek to share the gospel with Northwest Oklahoma City.  We offer a variety of ministries for all age groups and the specific needs of our community. 

There are two major focuses for our Church to help people Know GOD.  The first focus is ministering to the administration, teachers,  students, and parents of our local schools.  We have numerous ministry teams that work with our Compassion in Action Team to identify specific physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

The second mission that we have embraced is ministering to the hurts and needs of today’s family through our Family and Marriage Ministry Team.  It is our mission to become a helping and healing place for you and your family.

OUR CITY:

Oklahoma City is a thriving and growing city with numerous spiritual needs.  The Lord has provided ongoing ministry opportunities through our Prison Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry and the City Rescue Mission.

In addition to these very important ministries, every member of PCBC is encouraged and equipped to daily minister to everyone we encounter as they excercise their spiritual gifts through the power of the Holy Spirit.

OUR NATION:

Through various mission trips and our participation in the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, we are able to support ministries in every state.  Southern Baptist are the third largest disaster relief agency in the world and is totally funded by cooperating churches.  We serve, we give and we pray so that our nation might return to the Lord who has so greatly blessed our country.

OUR WORLD:

We also seek to go into all the world to share the gospel.  Each year, different members from our church participate in foreign mission trips.  Currently, we have two families that are serving full time as missionaries on the other side of the globe.  Also, our church financially supports the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention which is the largest mission sending agency in the world.
