One of the greatest privileges given to my wife and me by God is that of working together with Him in the training and deployment of ministry leaders. We believe that when God gives a vision for ministry He also gives the provisions to make it possible. God gave us both the burning desire and the vision for a biblical training center, which would focus on preparing leaders for church related vocations, as well as,to equip leaders for more effective ministry in the market place. Queen City Bible College (QCBC) is that training center.

    Early in our ministry my wife and i planted a church and we both worked on full time secular jobs. It was impossible for me to leave the ministry field, stop supporting my family and go to seminary. I had to put off my formal theological training for several years, especially in light of the fact that God blessed our church to grow rapidly. We then planted a second church 1988 and again the church grew rapidly and the demands on our time increase. Still I had a burning desire to further my education in ministry. I had attended a nationally known Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois when I first entered the ministry and periodically I was able to take a course at a seminar extension center, but the desire to matriculate stilled burned within me. SInce then I have served on the Board of Advisors for Seminaries and Colleges such as Gardner- Webb University, Gordon Conwell Seminary and currently serve on the Board of Trustees of Columbia International University and Seminary.

    I mention this to you, simply to let you know that we understand the pressure, and stress of ministry as well as the joys and rewards. We understand how difficult it is to serve the local church and continue one's educational pursuits. We also understand the tremendous need for those called into ministry to strive, grow and reach higher levels of education. We also can identify with the struggle to accomplish this through the traditional approach to education.

    QCBC offers the highest quality non-traditional accelerated approach to education possible. We are committed to giving our students the most practical and challenging training available. Therefore at QCBC, our desire is to prepare our students, upon graduation, to assume leading roles in the local church, Para-church, charitable and non-profit organizations.

    While QCBC will emphasize the practical side of ministry, we will also maintain relevant scholarship and the highest academic achievement attainable to each student. QCBC continues to be transformed with new and exciting programs of study. We offer an expanded curriculum that includes two masters programs and two bachelor programs of study. In addition we are also working through the process of obtaining regional and national accredation.
