Children's Ministries
|
...so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work
and as you grow in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10
|
In all that we do, we are committed to being…

God Centered - We teach Biblical truths while depending on God, following Christ and being led by the Spirit.
Welcoming - We welcome every child as a valuable and special child of God.
Joyful - We have fun and inspire real joy in the lives of our children and families.
Family Oriented - We are committed to honoring families and being connected to our entire church family.
Safe & Secure - We care for and protect everyone entrusted to us.
The Children’s Ministry at RPC partners with families so that every child and family will:
♦ claim an identity in Christ who loves them unconditionally - growing in knowledge and relationship with him;
♦ worship God in a way that is real and awe-filled;
♦ minister to and serve the world- family, church, peers, community; and
♦ know that they are a valuable part of the family of God through their connection to one another and to the entire church family. |

Children's Choirs
We love to hear our children voices singing praises! Programs are offered for children from birth to 5th grade. |
 |
Baptism Class
On the first Sunday of every month, one of our Discipleship Pastors teaches this discussion-based class. Our goal is to ensure that parents are prepared and fully understand this very special moment in the life of their child’s faith journey. This class is strongly recommended for all parents who plan to have their child baptized at RPC. Contact Betty Chisolm for more information.
1st Sunday of the month, 8:15 am, Elementary Room 211.

 |
Shadow Program
Every child at RPC should feel loved, accepted, and included. Occasionally a child has special challenges in the Sunday school classroom. We have volunteer adults/youth to buddy with them so that they are also able to have a meaningful experience. If you think your child would benefit from a shadow, contact Rev. Lyndsay Slocum.
