Youth Ministries
|
The Youth Ministry at Roswell Presbyterian Church is called "ryeX," (Roswell Youth EXperience).
ryeX exists to walk with students, their families, and their friends on their journey of becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. We are a place of community where students are welcomed by each other and by adult leaders who are committed to walking with them and their families through life. At ryeX, we want to create space for students to experience a faith that is authentic, a place where we celebrate together, we ask hard questions together, we stand together through the tough times, we support each other, and we encourage each other in our faith.
We maintain our own website at ryeX.org, but have listed some of our programs below .

Sunday Mornings at ryeX
During the school year, ryeX typically has separate meetings for high school and for middle school at the Sunday morning 9:45 hour. Each group is led in worship through music and has a Bible teaching from the youth directors before meeting in talk-back groups facilitated by adult leaders.
Students meet in rooms at the South Tower of the RPC campus. Middle school students meet on the lower/ground level, and high school students meet upstairs.

Small Group Bible Studies
Throughout the school year, ryeX students are invited to engage the Bible and one another in small group communities. This is a place to share life, to hear others, and to be heard. Groups also study the Bible and spend time praying for each other.

Parent Resources
At ryeX, we are honored to partner with parents in helping middle school and high school students to become adults who continue to be faithful disciples of Jesus as they engage the world. We are committed to sharing resources with parents as we all continue to grow in our knowledge of marriage, parenting, adolescent development, and youth culture.
