The Rev'd Cannon R. Brient Koehler, SSC
Rector

Father Koehler has served Saint Luke's as Rector since 2001. He served parishes in the midwest, Florida, and Texas before his present ministry in Baton Rouge. In addition to his parish ministry, he has also served in diocesan administration in Fort Worth, and teaches in the School for Ministry in Louisiana

He is committed to a purpose-driven vision for the Church, and is working with our Vestry to bring that vision to realization in our parish. He is committed to the traditional doctrine and teaching of the Anglican Communion, and is a member of the Communion Partner Rectors.

He is a member of the Society of the Holy Cross, an international brotherhood of priests across the Anglican Communion, and he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Nashotah House (class of 1976). Fr Koehler is also a member of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, the Guild of All Souls, and a variety of hereditary/genealogical societies.

He was married to Terry Ellen Collins in 1972, and they are the parents of three children.
