Lay Readers

Lay Readers are licensed by the bishop to preside at Prayer Book services which authorize lay leadership (e.g., Morning and Evening Prayer).  Extensive training and testing are required.

Lay Eucharist Ministers  (LEMs) are scheduled on Sundays and other times to administer the chalice at Holy Communion when there are not enough ordained ministers present.  They also assist the priest in various other ways.

Interested in more details about these ministries?  Contact the Rector.
