The Vestry governs the temporal affairs of the Parish and serves as council to the Rector.  The Senior Warden is appointed by the Rector from among the elected members of the Vestry, and works at the Rector's discretion to help implement the program and activities of St. Margaret's.  The Junior Warden is elected by the Vestry from among it's own members, and is responsible for the physical upkeep of the buildings and grounds.  The Rector serves as the presiding officer and is a member of the Vestry.  In addition, there are nine lay vestry members, who serve staggered three-year terms.  New members are elected by the congregation each January at the Annual Parish Meeting.
