Free Health Assessments Thursday, March 20, 2014
Results for 2013: We has 32 participants on March 12th and 42 participants on March 14th for a total of 74 individuals who received free health assessments.
Our next scheduled health assessment date will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 7:30 AM until 10:30 AM in Room 155. These assessments are by appointment only, so please contact Pansy Floyd at 359-7770, EXT. 37 to make an appointment starting anytime after January 2014.
At these appointments qualified LMC medical staff will check your cholesterol (HDL & LDL), triglycerides, glucose, iron and blood pressure for FREE. In addition, PSA (prostate specific antigen) testing will be offered; know that men 50+ and those with high risk meet the requirement for a FREE PSA test. LMC conducts this testing on-site at SGPC (Room 155 across from gym.) All testing requires an appointment AND 12-hour fasting.
All participants will receive their screening results via confidential mail and/or telephone call. We strongly encourage participants with abnormal results to follow up with a physician.
