Traditional Services More Info...
The Traditional Services at Saxe Gotha are held in the Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m. and again at 11:00 a.m., each Sunday. Each Service lasts approximately one hour.
Our Traditional Services follow a general "Order of Worship,” including worship components like The Gloria Patri, The Apostles Creed, the Prayer of Confession, Tithes & Offerings, The Lord's Prayer, and etc. Each week, there is a Sermon based on a Scripture reading, and music will include choral anthems by adult and/or children's and youth choirs. Traditional Hymns will be sung from The Celebration Hymnal, usually a few times during worship. Two of the sacraments, baptism and communion, will also be celebrated during traditional worship. Communion is usually served on the first Sunday of each month. Acolytes will be present to light candles at the beginning of each traditional service.
