Passage: A generational discipling group led by fathers for their 11th and 12th grade sons, led by Lee Fogle
Foundational Scripture: Deuteronomy 6: 1-6 1 These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

UPDATE from Lee Fogle:
Dear Friends, Last Month, 15 people from SGPC visited Finley Park to feed, pray for and minister to the homeless. Lives were changed on both sides of the table. Additionally, some of our fathers and sons participated in the Men's Third Tuesday Breakfast as well as the Prayer Conference last month. Let's praise God for raising up fathers and young men as warriors for the Kingdom of Christ in our communities and schools.
Group Activity for the month: We will return to Finley Park for the homeless ministry. As with last month, we invite all who wish to attend to join us! Meet at the Light House at SGPC at 7 pm on the 7th! Bring a bucket of chicken, bottled water, salad, snack bars, anything that you would serve to a King... because according to Matthew 25: 31-46, that's who we are feeding!
Questions for the month:
1) If we truly lived these instructions, how would our lives be different?
2) How am I doing on a daily basis in this? (Rate yourself from 1-10)
3) How can we as a family hold each other accountable and help each other in this area?
Discipling Scripture for the month: Philippians 4: 8-9 (NOTE: Read this scripture several times during the month and find time at least once per week to reflect on the questions and talk about them with your sons, daughters, wives or fathers
