Sunday AM Bible Study  9:45-10:30 am

CONVERGE Wednesdays 6:15-7:30 pm

Many thanks to the CONVERGE leaders who led the ski trip to Winterplace, WV(you know who you are) and to our youth staff – Mary, Drew, Taylor, and Dell – who worked very hard to prepare for our time together. It was a great trip!

As of our deadline on Feb 8th, we have 5 spots remaining for our CONVERGE Summer Mission Trip to Camp Bahamas. These spots will go to the next 5 students who turn in a completed form and deposit. We will continue registration until all 24 spots are full, then start a waiting list. Friends of church members are now welcomed to register as well.

This Sunday AM Feb 12th, we will study Accountable Friendships. God designed the church to be a place of unity and harmony and relational connection. As Psalm 133 says, it is good when brothers and sisters experience harmony. I hope you will be able to join us.

At the Feb 8th CONVERGE Wednesday, I had the opportunity to share some of my testimony, some songs that are special to me, and also the greatest message ever told. Our students heard a very clear presentation of the Gospel along with scripture and they were given a opportunity to pray to receive Christ if they chose to do so. I would love to hear your feedback about our time together on Wednesday night.

We are looking at adding a summer conference trip to our High School schedule in mid-late July. In the past, our trips to “MOVE” have been very popular. Please let me know if you have interest as our proposal will go to the ministry team meeting in early March.

Speaking of ministry meetings, the Next Generation Ministry here at SG is exploring ways to include you (students, parents, leaders, and volunteers) in our planning and vision efforts. You are invited to join us and I hope you always know that your feedback and input is welcome. This will give folks an opportunity to be more involved in the process. We also plan to include more leader training into these meetings. More on this soon…
