Growing to Serve

"And in Christ you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."  Ephesians 2:22 (NIV)

Busting out the Seams

OPPORTUNITY

Sharon Presbyterian Church has outgrown our current facilities.  In order to support the continuing growth and vitality of our church, we are launching a 4.3 million dollar development plan called Growing to Serve.

PLAN

The intent of the Growing to Serve Capital Campaign is to fund the construction of improvements to our campus as well as establish a benevolence fund in order to better live out Sharon's Mission: Invite all seekers, Teach the Gospel and Serve human need.

CONSTRUCTION COSTS

Total Construction                  $  3,690,000
Benevolence Outreach          $     370,000  (10% of construction costs set aside)
Fund Raising                            $     200,000
Total                                           $  4.3 million

PROJECT AT A GLANCE

A new gym will provide much needed recreation opportunities for all ages including dedicated youth space.

Sanctuary improvements will include administrative space renovations as well as additional space for music programs and a Sunday morning nursery.

Formal fellowship hall, by upgrading the existing Charles Little Activity Building facility, will create an inviting multi-purpose space that will be used by all church ministries.

A covered walkway will extend between the upgraded Charles Little Activity Building (renovated Fellowship Hall) and Sanctuary Building.

Give

It takes a village.  Your contribution is how this will happen.  We will reach out to every congregation member, so stay tuned for information on how you can participate.
