SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY/SUNDAY SCHOOL
Chad Queen
Director of Christian Education
Small Group Bible Study or Adult Sunday School is the foundation of all we do at South Elm. We provide classes for every age group. These classes work to involve members of all ages in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship.
Our Sunday Morning Bible Study classes are designed to make it possible to minister to and involve everyone in the church’s ministry. Teachers work with the Staff of the church to help God’s people grow in their Christian walk. In Ephesians 4:12-13, we read one of the main goals of the church is to, “…prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Sunday School/Small Group Bible Study is designed to:
1. Teach the Bible and apply it to our daily lives.
2. Help each member grow in his or her relationship to God.
3. Involve as many people as possible into the ministry of South Elm.
4. Prevent members from getting lost in the crowd or left out of vital church fellowship.
5. Help the church minister to every believer in his or her time of need.
6. Maximize personal contact between believers within the fellowship of the church.
We would love to introduce you to a class where you can grow in the knowledge of God’s word and enjoy the benefits of having fellowship with other Christians. We consider this Sunday School as vital to all we do at this church
