Green Gala -
Frequently Asked Questions
When will I get my Invitation? In keeping with our “green theme,” we wanted to be as responsible and resourceful as we could in planning this important Parish event. This means
we are NOT mailing separate, formal invitations. We have created a one-page Invitation and RSVP form that you can click on at the Parish Website:
www.steugenecongregation.org . Invitations are also available in the March issue of News-n-Views, the school Thursday Folder, and in several Sunday Bulletins in March and April.
When should I send in my RSVP? Don’t wait! We’re ready to receive your RSVP and check made payable to: St. Eugene Green Gala/RSVP.
What should I wear? Truly folks, there is no dress code! Women wear long and short dresses as well as pants. The range is from sparkly and dressy to casual nice. We’re hoping you will reclaim an old favorite from the back of your closet this year and consider donating the money saved to our Recycling Pot! Most men wear a suit and tie but we also see an occasional tux along with some sport coats with open collars.
Will there be reserved tables? No, many people found it problematic to put a table together so we’ve eliminated that concern. Rest assured there will be plenty of tables for sitting down, eating and relaxing.
What’s on the menu? We’ll be serving hot and cold appetizers along with a wide variety of dinner selections served from four Food Stations over a 2 ½ hour period of time. Please check the Parish website for additional, specific information.
Will there be Entertainment? Yes, we will have a DJ this year playing a variety of music for entertainment and dancing. He’ll also do some Karaoke with our group.
How do I get my Auction Item Booklet? The Auction Booklet will be available for you to preview and print from the Parish website sometime in April. In addition, if you have included your email address on your RSVP form, we will send you an email with the link at the appropriate time. There will be a limited number of “hard copy” Auction Booklets available, in keeping with our “green theme.”
Who should I call with Questions or Concerns? Please call either Co-chair:
Ann Strassman: 414-228-6328 or Mary Kees: 262-241-3044
