Treat Mom to delicious bakery on her special day. MAY 10 & 11 AFTER ALL WEEKEND MASSES HOME-MADE BAKED GOODS
If you can help by donating bakery, package your donation in saleable
sizes and drop it off before the weekend Masses. All proceeds will benefit the St. Eugene Youth Group activities including the Appalachia Mission Trip. Questions?

CONFIRMATION PRACTICE
The practice for all high school confirmation candidates
and their sponsors is Monday, May 5, at 6:45 pm in Our
Lady of Good Hope Church. Confirmation is Saturday,
May 10, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Hope, but all
candidates and sponsors must meet in the basement
of OLGH church by 9:30 am. Please contact Rita

FIRST EUCHARIST PRACTICE
Practice for First Eucharist Masses will be held in
church on Tuesday, April 29.

The practice schedule is as follows:
6:00 pm for those scheduled for the Saturday 4:30 Mass.
6:30 pm for those scheduled for the Sunday 8:30 Mass.
7:00 pm for those scheduled for the Sunday 11:00 Mass.
A parent or other adult should attend the practice with each
child.

WOMEN’S DISCUSSION GROUP AT THE CATHEDRAL
The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist invites you to please join us for our monthly Women’s Spirituality Lunch/Discussion gathering in the Atrium. This ecumenical group meets at noon on the first Friday of each month to discuss a previously distributed article. We’ll send you the article and take your lunch order (from Cousins – price is $5 each). The next discussion will be Friday, May 2, 2008 at 12:00 Noon in the Weakland
Center Atrium, entrance is 831 N. Van Buren St. This month’s topic is Chapter 1 "Called to Holiness as Women of the Church" by Susan Muto; from the book The Church Women Want: Catholic Women in Dialogue Edited by Elizabeth A. Johnson.
