Scaraments
Reconciliation:
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered each Saturday at 3:45 p.m. and continues until all wishing to receive this sacrament have had an opportunity to do so. Please be present at 3:45 p.m.
The sacrament is also available by appointment with Father at any time.
Communal celebrations with individual confession and absolution are held seasonally, see the announcements section of this web site.
Baptisms:
Baptisms are held on the first Sunday of each month during one specific Mass and on the third Sunday of each month at noon. Participation in an instruction session is required, preferably before the birth of the child. Please call the parish office to register. Sessions are held bi-monthly.
Call Father to schedule the baptism.
Weddings:
Arrangements should be made with Father at least six months prior to the wedding.
Sick Calls:
Homebound parishoners who would like to receive communion may have a relative pick up a pyx and booklet of prayers from the priest or pastoral associate in the sacristy before Mass. Father and/or our lay ministers of the Eucharist will also visit and bring communion. (Click here for further information on Ministry to the Sick and Homebound).
Anointing of the Sick:
The Sacrament of the Sick is offered at the 7:30 a.m. Mass on first Fridays of the month. Call the parsih secrestary to register. Father will also visit the home, hospital or nursing home to administer this sacrament when requested. (Click here for further information on Ministry to the Sick and Homebound).
Hearing Assistance:
St. Eugene Church is equipped with a hearing assistance system. Devices are available in the sacristy before Mass.
