Our mission is to serve our migrant brothers and sisters who labor in the fields and farms of North Carolina from May through September. St Francis parish provides a hot dinner to migrant workers and their families four times a year; we drive migrant workers to mass weekly 17 weeks of the year at our Lady of the Rosary parish in Louisburg NC.
We need 4-6 drivers weekly from June through September yearly; and four times a year parishioners to bring food, cook and serve food.
We will help you clean out your closets in the Spring with our clothing drive to help provide clothes to the newly returning families.
For more information, or if you would like to join our efforts (e.g., drive or prepare a meal), you can check the bulletin for details on dates in 2008 we will be providing these services. For additional information, please feel free to call Tom Carlson at 788-8460.
