Senior Recognitions & Credos this weekend

This Sunday, May 20, we will honor our youth and young adults preparing to graduate from high school and college. Graduates will be invited forward for special prayers during the 9:00 a.m. worship in the Historic Church. High school seniors will also be part of a liturgical celebration of their whole Journey to Adulthood experience and a sharing of their senior “credos,” or statements of belief, during the formation hour.

St. John's Annual meeting took place on Sunday, May 6. Reports were made by the Rector, Warden's Treasurer, and Headmaster. Four new Vestry Members were elected: Katie Baughman, Steve Davey, Lucia Martin and Chris Padgett. Dave Standeven was awarded the St. John's Cross for his "beyond awesome" work during the past year.
