Welcome to All Visitors
Welcome from the Pastor

Please take a moment to explore our website to learn more about St. John's.
Who are we?
St. John's United Methodist Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome at St. John' United Methodist Church.
While Senior Minister, George Howle, preaches from his South Carolina roots, the worship service and music are traditional, yet lively and timely. St. John’s puts great emphasis on continuing Christian study with Sunday School Classes, Special Series and the DISCIPLE Bible Study program. There are numerous opportunites to join smaller groups, which are constantly evolving and open to new members.
The congregation is committed to outreach into the Aiken community, both on an individual basis and in groups of volunteers. We have adopted an Acts 1:8 strategy "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth". St. John's Missions are local, state, national and international in scope.
The St. John’s congregation is multi-generational. There are opportunities for all ages and life stages to become involved through study, outreach and fellowship. For more information on these and other opportunities, please contact the church office at 803/648-6891 or stjohns.aiken@stjohns-umc.org.
