"I am a native Texan and have been married to Paula for almost three decades.

We have two grown sons of whom we are very proud, and we enjoy living on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, kayaking on the local lakes, and gardening with plants native to Texas.

I've been an Episcopal deacon and priest since 1981, serving four congregations in Texas and Louisiana before joining the staff of St. Luke's on the Lake in 1998. My strongest interest in ministry is spiritually nurturing individuals and the congregation to grow and mature so that we can continue establishing the Kingdom of God which Jesus announced and inaugurated through his ministry, death, and resurrection.

Here at St. Luke's on the Lake, I cover the waterfront of ordained ministry, with particular emphases on supporting adult formation and education, welcoming guests and visitors, and extending pastoral care to individuals and families.
