Youth Ministry Web Page

Welcome to the St. Matthew’s web page for high school teens!  We’re glad you chose to visit.  Explore this page and links.  And come back often, because the page is updated and links change often.  You’ll find fun ways to procrastinate and new ways to motivate yourself to success.  You’ll learn more about Fellowship of Timothy and what activities this group does.

Fellowship of Timothy is a devoted group of local senior high school students of St. Matthew’s Church and like-minded adults who meet at St. Matthew’s.  While the FoT meets at church, you wouldn’t call us a “religious” group.  The group focuses on two areas, fellowship (i.e. having fun and hanging out) and service – helping others in need.  FoT meets monthly throughout the school year.

The Fellowship: Community Service/Community Life

FoT’s community service goal is to make life better for others in our community. These activities help us understand Christian servanthood. Such annual activities as working with Habitat for Humanity, going on a Midnight Run, and serving lunch at an area soup kitchen. FoT tries to be innovative with its community service projects and is always open to fresh ideas.  All of these types of projects meet the requirements for community service hours at local high schools.

FoT is always open to new members, both from families of St. Matthew’s and friends from Bedford and the surrounding towns. All are welcome!

Who is Timothy?

Timothy is a very important follower of Paul. He was a teenager when he began to work with Paul.  Click on Timothy to learn more.
