The Civil War in Song and Story: A commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War

The grounds at St Thomas will become home to an encampment of Civil War soldiers. Tours of the cemetery will be given and the afternoon will culminate in a recital of songs about the Civil War, and other music of the era. Local historians will tell stories and give us glimpses of life before and during the war in Eastern Pennsylvania.

This program is offered in partnership with the Fort Washington Historical Society.

Proceeds will benefit the Fort Washington Historical Society, St. Thomas Friends of Music, and the Civil War Trust: Saving America's Civil War Battlefields. Tickets required.
