 “For I know the plans I have for you…” Jeremiah 29:11 - How Teens and Parents Approach the Future

The teenage years are full of decision: Where to go to college; Who to take to the prom; What courses to take in High School; What extracurricular activities to be involved in… The list can go on and on.  We will discuss and explore how parents and teenagers each approach the future in different ways, looking to how mutual discernment can work in a parent-teenager relationship.  We will also look at how to find the balance in offering advice and support, while allowing your teenager the freedom they need to develop a healthy self-identity and faith life.
