Middle School Division Sunday School - Middle School Middle School Sixth & Seventh Grades Youth in grades 6 & 7 will use We Believe: Faithfully Asking Questions curriculum in Sunday School. This curriculum for fall, winter and spring connects faith questions collected from Presbyterian youth with questions from The Study Catechism: Confirmation Version. Young people will bring their questions to the Bible and learn to navigate scripture as they address issues of life and faith. Teachers Carolyn Egbert Joanna Greene Mike Greene Kaye Hooks Jon Keyser Confirmation Eighth grade Confirmation class participants study the Bible, Reformed Theology, and the history of the Presbyterian Church. They are then given the opportunity to decide to take on their baptismal vows for themselves, thereby becoming church members. The Confirmation class uses the curriculum We Believe: Processing Our Faith. Additionally, Confirmands attend fall retreat as well as engage in memorization, weekly homework, and service projects. They have a detailed program calendar and work closely with their Adult Confirmation partners. Confirmation Sunday is May 20, 2012.
