Love God ~ Love Others ~ Serve the World
We believe that it is important for our children to see others' needs and serve those in need. They have options to serve children in Haiti, Dorchester, and fellow parishioners in our church.
Haiti
Our preschoolers will continue to collect offerings for Cedene, an orphan in Port au Prince Haiti. We have been supporting Cedene for over ten years. We have enjoyed visiting him during mission trips and receiving his letters.
The Children’s Ministry Team is working with The Boston Project Ministries, Inc. (TBPM) in Dorchester, MA. The offerings from the kindergarten-grade 5 children will be used to support their staff, after school programs, the ROCK, homework club. In addition to financially supporting TBPM, there are several hands on service projects such as assisting with the annual garage sale, helping neighbors move items, and neighborhood fall clean ups.
Trinitarian
Our K-grade 5 girls get together monthly to cook for fellow parishioners. This grows friendships within the group, encourages them to think of the needs of others, build bridges between generations, and meet the needs of many.
