Jim Preaches on Conversions This Sunday Jim Preaches on Conversions This Sunday Posted on Friday, July 07, 2006 The Biblical author, Luke, uses the case study method to demonstrate the spread of Christianity in the first century world; a world that was every bit as hostile and resistant to its message as is ours. This sixth case is of the Philippian Jailer in Acts 16, a blue collar retired military officer who had no spiritual inklings whatsoever. He was converted in a way far different from Lydia or the demon possessed slave girl, whose stories we looked at last week. CDs of those sermons can be picked up in the Common. Full programming for children K-5 is available during the service. Children should start with their parents in church and will be dismissed after the children’s message.
