EVANGELISM COMMISSION

Mission Statement: Invite, Welcome, Incorporate, Prepare, Send out

     The Evangelism Commission is responsible for making Trinity Church known in the community, encouraging and welcoming visitors to our church and helping newcomers find ways to worship and serve with our congregation.

     Some of the recent tasks accomplished by the Evangelism Commission include obtaining inproved exterior and interior signage for the church.  The Commission was also responsible for establishing designated parking for visitors.

     In 2008 the Evangelism Commission began administering a name tag program to provide professionally printed, permanent name tags for all members, visitors, and guests of Trinity and to encourage the use of the name tags at all church services and events, so that members of our congregation can get to know each other better.  If you would like to have a Trinity name tag, please click Name Tag.

 Newcomer Greeters

     The Newcomer Greeter program administered by the Evangelism Commission is vital to our mission of welcoming visitors. The greeters are available after all Sunday services to welcome visitors and provide them with newcomer folders which contain information on our church history, service schedule, and available programs. Volunteer greeters are scheduled approximately six times a year.  If you would like to serve Trinity in this way, please click Greeter Sign Up to volunteer as a greeter.

     In addition to the items designated above the Evangelism Commission has developed Newcomer folders, welcome letters and information brochures for newcomer mailings, and pew cards for visitor information. Commission members also design and place newspaper ads for Christmas, Easter, and special services at Trinity.
