Pastor Ron Steel has been the Senior Pastor of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church since August 2004. He leads and serves the Lord alongside a team of 10 pastors and ministry directors as part of a larger team comprised of a Session, Diaconate and ministry leaders.
The theological path on which Pastor Steel has travelled began in Ocala, Florida and has taken him through the Reformed Theological Seminary, where he obtained a Masters of Divinity degree, Briarwood Presbyterian Church as an Associate Pastor, and Chapelgate Presbyterian Church as a Senior Pastor. He served as a Professor of Systematic Theology at Birmingham Theological Seminary, preaching and teaching at Covenant Seminary and has authored and developed curricula for Officer Training and Sunday School courses in St. Louis. In addition, he has hosted a radio program on KSIV radio on the Bott Radio Network, called "Oaks of Righteousness."
Pastor Steel has ministered, preached, and labored for the Lord in Pakistan, Turkey, Mexico, the Ukraine and at national and regional missions conferences and retreats. He has served as moderator of Potomac Presbytery and as chairman of the Chesapeake Presbytery's Reorganization Committee.
Pastor Steel, his wife, Jenny, and their three adult sons, Matthew, Bryan and Jonathan, daily witness the Lord's faithfulness as the Christ-centered gospel is preached and taught at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church.
