Scott Kerens (pronounced care-enz) is the
Director of Young Adults at Twin Oaks.
He leads the Collegelife and Quarterlife ministries.
Scott became a Christian in the eighth grade after seeing the Gospel of grace in the lives of people at a church near his home in Clayton. Today, he considers those people family.
Elizabeth grew up in St. Louis as well. She met Scott on a double date at a Branson Applebees in 2001--they were each dating someone else! Scott finally asked her out a few years later, married in 2006, and now expecting their first child in September 2008.
Scott and Elizabeth live in Des Peres and enjoy seeing God in
relationships, mountains, and the Church. They also occasionally sit in a canoe in the backyard (in the grass)
and read letters from family and friends.
