The purpose of the Music Ministry is to glorify God through music during worship. The ministry works with the Pastor utilizing music to encourage and uplift God’s people, and help draw us all into a closer relationship with God.
To participate in this ministry you must be a member of Victory Apostolic Church. Ministry members are responsible for attending scheduled rehearsals, and participating in worship services, designated events and music programs. Members also complete the Victory Apostolic Church Department of Music Ministry Orientation. Ministry members should have the ability to sing vocal parts, staying in key and with their assigned vocal section. They should also have, or strive to develop, a biblical understanding of the power, purpose, and practice of praise and its role within the church.
The Music Ministry has several components:
- Vessels of Victory (Adult choir) - Ages 18 + - Rehearsals - Thursdays, 7:30 pm
- Women of Virtue Choir – Rehearsals Wednesday 7:30 pm (per special schedule)
- Men of Victory Ensemble (M.O.V.E.) – Rehearsals - Wednesday 7:30 pm (per special schedule)
- F.Y.R.E. (Young Adult Choir) - Ages 11 to 18; Rehearsals - Saturdays, 12:30pm
- Jr. Vessels (Children’s choir) - Ages 5 to 11; Rehearsals - Saturdays, 11:00 am
- Victory Vibrations (Church musicians) - Ages 18+; Rehearsals -Thursdays, 7:30 pm
- Jr. Vibrations (Teen Church Musicians) - Ages 11 to 18; Rehearsals - Saturdays, 12:30pm
- Instruments of Praise Liturgical Dancers - Ages 13 to Adult; Rehearsals - Varies
- Petite Praise Dancers - Ages 5 to 12; Rehearsals - Mondays, 6:30pm
